. yep u heard that right THE SPORTSBOOK IS NOW LIVE... u can use ur existing credits on any upcoming sports game and gamble it all away... or win BIG... i thought i would have 2 type more for this part but its all rly self explanatory j click the "Gambling" tab at the top of the forum (or on the left side if ur on phone) and click a game to place a wager on it... i set all the minimum bets to 15 credits so go nuts! this will also hopefully allow us to have live watch parties of sports or award shows on the site and bet on the outcomes... everything is in place mechanically... now its j organizing an event... very excited!
. the chatbox has been upgraded significantly... im using a different framework but it should be the same old front page chat u guys have loved. this framework is way more responsive, is collapsible if u dont wanna see it or need 2 hide it at work or something, and the big animated smileys shouldn't absolutely fuck up the phone version of the chat anymore (overlapping other ppls text n shit)
. anonymous posting!... its exactly as it sounds, at the bottom of ur reply or post u have the option to post it anonymously... do it if u like,, or if u dont care thats totally fine as well! its just there to be there. i gave this functionality to guests as well so even if someone does not have an account they can still reply to ppl's threads (i didnt let guests post threads tho... spam reasons)... for guests/unregistered users i have required them to put a name as well 2 alleviate spam but it will not create an account for them
. GAMES! yes u can play games on the site... for now all thats there is tetris but it is 100% functional as far as i've tested it, feel free to request any games! i've j been testing a bunch of different ones from internet archive (no ads + no lawsuits). keep in mind these games will not work on mobile... tbf i dont think any html5 games do but its worth clarifying... anyway REQUEST WHAT GAMES U GUYS WANT! AND TRY TETRIS!!

. u now can gain interest on the credits in ur wallet!! (thank u grady 4 this suggestion) i set up this event 2 trigger like every 2 days and 2 make it more fun u can gain any random amount of interest in between 0 and 50 credits... so enjoy more free credits! hopefully the bank is in ur favor!

. reputation system... not based on reactions or likes just based on how much u post... kinda like a forum leveling system possibly with cool visual rewards... ideally will have some sort of badge or trophy system now that credits are in play and i've developed this idea a bit more
. WAYY more profile customization... ideally going to integrate something like tumblr where ur profile is basically ur own webpage... u can changee the font, visual style, backround, website, post links 2 ur own shit etc. etc. this will kinda be a huge undertaking but i want to finish this before i leave for CA this week hopefully... if not, expect this by beginning of December (I AM GETTING MUCH FARTHER W THIS ONE.... THANK U FREE ONLINE VISUAL HTML AND CSS EDITOR)
. some sort of purchaseable reward w credits... a shop system.... maybe special emojis or username styles? idk...or adminstrator privileges for a fixed amount of time 0_0.... who knows
. fixing the "latest poster" display attached to each forum... i have it working correctly in the what's new section (big icon for original poster, small icon for latest reply) but its j not working on the frontpage... working on it (i have slightly given up on this... lol)
. custom profile URL's, hopefully as infrastructure for the webpage update but basically instead of ur profile being some weird combo of /'s and numbers it would be forumthatneverwas.com/[whatever u want here]
. calendar... self explanatory... just wanna have dates and times for organized events
. adding more games cuz that shit is awesome and cool pls suggest games
. similar to the interest system i want 2 make a lottery system (players can possibly win the lottery if they buy tickets) or maybe add raffles for custom prizes (idk yet) or even a stealing function (users would have a % chance to steal someone elses credits... if they try and succeed then damn rip but if they fail a % of the thiefs credits are taken away)
. with this new chat framework i'm actually able to make chat rooms pretty easily... j trying 2 figure out how i would want it implemented where it isnt pointless or obsoletes the main chat
. with the sportsbook framework i can actually make a survivor type game for sports teams (everyone chooses a team for the week and whoever's team wins the most games gets to be in the hall of fame... something like that?)
. video FILE integration... videos from URL's werent 2 hard but now i need 2 implement ppl being able to post their own videos from their phones or from their computer... kinda like a community youtube (or even as an attachment in a forum post)
. featured post of the day/funny video tournament.... the latter is more organization than any technical task
this update was rly wild and one of the big ones i wanted 2 finish before making this site super public (the other one being the custom webpages)... i need sleep im so tired... the sportsbook rly challenged me specifically the cosmetic part of it... so u guys who asked 4 it better gamble ur fucking hearts out... also just wanted 2 say thank u everyone 4 being active as fuck n making hella cool posts n j talking about what ur interested in,, i didn't post a single time yesterday and we hit an all time high for posts... that shit was awesome 2 see n im glad everyone is rly enjoying the site
keep posting 4 me! i'm gonna go find whatever scraps of food or tinned fish we have in the kitchen lol
